Kimberly Yaeger - Director of Marketing and Member Relations

Kimberly Yaeger is the Director of Marketing and Member Relations for the Nevada Trucking Association (NTA).  Prior to that, she did practice management and recruiting for hospitals in California.

Kim has continued her studies in Advanced Business Management and Writing at UNR’s Extended Studies Program. Kim’s next professional goal is to receive her IOM recognition through the Institute for Organization Management,  a professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce known as the industry standard for association and chamber management.

Since assuming this position in 2010, Kim has aggressively advocated for the members of the Nevada Trucking Association, to enhance the trucking industry’s public image, and develop relationships within the community.  Kim has successfully orchestrated our state’s Truck Driving Championship for the past 8 years and many member events, one of which included the launching of Truckers Against Trafficking in the State of Nevada and partnering with Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto in a campaign to educate the public about Sex and Human Trafficking within the State of Nevada.  In addition, she works closely with the Nevada Highway Patrol as well as the California Highway Patrol, and serves on the fundraising committee for the Attorney General’s Survivors of Human Trafficking.  Recently, Kim was appointed to the Steering Committee for The Nevada Coalition for the Prevention of the Sexual Exploitation of Children.

At the Nevada Trucking Association, Kim advocates for the Nevada Trucking Association’s members, oversees membership recruitment, training, events, community outreach and leads the association’s government affairs on Sex and Human Trafficking at the Nevada Legislature, state agencies and the local government municipalities.   Additionally, Kim oversees NTA’s administrative operations and office management.

Kim resides in Reno and enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, volunteering, skiing, mountain bike riding, and hiking.
